What is BridalSnap for bridal shops?

BridalSnap is a boutique consultation tool. It helps bridal shops show a bride in shortlisted gowns before fittings, after appointments, or during internal review moments when the shortlist needs to get sharper.

Is this replacing fittings?

No. BridalSnap supports the sales and consultation process around fittings. It helps boutiques frame better decisions before the next in-person dress appointment.

Does it use the bride's actual photo?

Yes. The workflow is built around the bride reference. The goal is to support a real client conversation, not to swap in a generic stand-in model.

Are the styled backgrounds exact venue recreations?

No. The background layer is visual flourish. It adds polish, tone, and atmosphere to the reveal, but it is not presented as exact venue simulation.

Is the workspace private?

Yes. The working studio stays behind client login. The public site is only there to explain the product and capture demand.

Can boutiques curate their own gowns?

Yes. The system is built around a curated dress catalog so boutiques can work from their own shortlist rather than generic fashion inventory.

How good are the dress images?

Dress images are stored in our private cloud storage and served via CDN for fast, reliable loading everywhere. They are processed at high quality (up to 2048px, 92% WebP encoding) to preserve fine detail in lace, beading, and fabric texture. Transparent pixels are auto-trimmed on upload to remove excess whitespace from cutout images. Thumbnail versions are generated automatically for the grid view so pages load quickly. For the best results, upload your highest resolution originals — the system handles sizing, trimming, format conversion, and thumbnail generation automatically.

How does the try-on generation work?

When you generate a look, your bride photo is processed by our proprietary AI try-on pipeline. The system makes two processing passes per look: one for the initial try-on and one for refinement. This streamlined approach means faster results and fewer points of failure.

What is the bride photo format?

Bride photos are automatically converted to WebP format on upload for optimal quality and smaller file sizes. This means faster uploads, quicker generation starts, and less storage usage — all without any visible quality loss.

Can I use this for virtual appointments?

Yes! You can log in to show your brides any dress you offer in-store or on any video call platform.

How do I send session images to a bride?

Open a completed session from the Archive tab, click the Send button, enter the bride's email and an optional personal message, then choose which follow-up emails to schedule. The images are delivered instantly.

How do follow-up emails work?

When you send session images, you can schedule automated follow-ups at 3 days, 1 week, and 2 weeks. Each email is sent from your boutique and gently checks in with the bride about the dresses she tried.

How do I use the CRM?

The Contacts tab inside your workspace lets you track every bride from first visit through to purchase. You can add notes, schedule follow-ups, link sessions, and update status as each bride progresses.

How do I score dresses during a session?

After each try-on result is generated, a row of score circles (0-10) appears below the image. Tap a number to rate the look instantly. Scores are colour-coded: slate for 0-5, gold for 6-9, and emerald for a perfect 10. Scores also appear in the fullscreen lightbox view and carry through to the bride access page.

What does the Animate button do?

When a look scores 10 and animation is enabled for your workspace, a short video is generated in the background. Once ready, an Animate button appears on the image. Clicking it plays the video as a fullscreen overlay. You can also manually request animation on any look using the Request Animate button if your workspace allows it.

Is there a help chatbot I can use?

Yes. A floating chat bubble appears in the bottom-right corner of your workspace. Click it to ask questions about scoring, animation, session management, bride access links, or any other workspace feature. The assistant knows your workspace context and can answer multi-turn follow-up questions.

Can I switch the language?

Yes. Use the EN/FR/ESP toggle in the top navigation bar to switch between English, French, and Spanish. Your choice is remembered for future visits. All public pages, pricing, signup forms, and login screens update instantly.

What is the Enterprise plan?

Enterprise is our top tier for flagship boutiques and multi-store groups. It includes unlimited generations, unlimited animated video try-ons, bespoke development, a dedicated account manager, a 4-hour SLA response time, priority onboarding, and custom integration access. Pricing is bespoke — contact us to discuss your needs.

How does the demo account work?

The demonstration workspace is created automatically the first time anyone visits the demo page. It comes pre-configured with the Comprehensive tier, 300 monthly generations, and all dresses and scenes enabled. No manual setup is needed.

How do contracts work?

Your boutique may receive a contract signing link by email. Click it to review the terms on a secure page and sign electronically. Once signed, both you and the BridalSnap team receive confirmation. The signed contract is stored against your account.

Can I choose multiple dresses at once?

Yes. On the dress selection step you can pick as many gowns as you like. They all generate in parallel — the platform handles concurrency automatically based on your plan's limit.

What are the expression and beauty options?

Before generating, you can set an expression (Joyful is the default) and a beauty style (Classic Bridal is the default). These enhance the bride's look with styled hair, makeup, and elegant shoes. Choosing 'No Change' skips the enhancement and uses the original photo as-is.

What does 'shoes covered' mean on a dress?

Some dresses are long enough to cover the bride's feet entirely. When a dress is marked as 'shoes covered', the system knows not to add visible shoes during generation. This is set per dress by the admin so the result looks natural whether the gown is floor-length or above the ankle.

Can I see the same dress in different colours?

If the boutique has uploaded colour variants of a dress, a colour picker appears below the dress in the carousel. Tap a colour chip to swap to that variant while keeping your selection. If no variants exist for a dress, no colour option is shown.

What is the 'Default View' filter?

Your boutique can set a default collection or selection of dresses that appears when you first open the studio. You can browse all gowns by switching collections, then tap 'Reset to Default' to return to the curated selection.

Can I skip the background scene?

Yes. Choose 'No Change' from the scene selector to keep the original photo backdrop instead of applying a styled background. This is useful when the bride's own environment works well or you want a more natural look.

Why does the boutique ask for my name before trying on dresses?

Your name is used on the AI consent form and shown in the session header so the boutique can personalise your experience. It's optional — the boutique can leave it blank if you prefer.

Can I browse results while new ones are generating?

Yes. Generation runs in the background with a compact progress banner. You can scroll through previous results, delete looks you don't want, and navigate the session freely while new images are being created.

Is there a desktop app beta for my boutique?

Yes. If your admin enables it, a staging desktop app install section appears in Settings. The desktop app is a fullscreen shell around the BridalSnap frontend, uses the same login credentials, and keeps processing routed through BridalSnap.
